巴哈拉赫，一個麻瓜生活的小鎮。

夜晚很安靜，夜空也很美，但有一位女生坐在窗前，望著外面的星空，她心中對魔法的嚮往從未停止過。突然，一隻白色的貓頭鷹從黑夜中飛了過來落在她的窗臺上。
只見貓頭鷹嘴裡叼著一個信封，上面印著霍格沃茨的徽記。女生驚喜地開啟信封，裡面是一張羊皮紙，上面用金色的墨水寫著她的名字和霍格沃茲的錄取通知。她心中的魔法夢，她將成為一名真正的魔法師。
她小心翼翼的撕開了信封，取出了裡面的信件。

Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

UNIFORM
First-year students will require:
1. Three sets of plain work robes (black)
2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear
3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)
4. One winter cloak (black, with silver fastenings)
Please note that all pupil's clothes should carry name tags.
